I mean, I read in your tumblr once you said that you copy or get inspired from the styles of other people as well. But I wonder how exactly did you do it? How did you know what to imitate? And from who did you take it?
Sorry if my questions seems too much, I just think you're that good. ;D
Usually when I read comics\watch cartoons I think that I really like how that guy's nose\eye\hair\whatever looks and I decide to try that thing on my characters as well. I adore any concept-art, because it makes everything easy to get and repeat and provides a lot of ideas
I mean the way you draw is unique, like I don't think I've ever seen any style that's exactly like yours. It's like a bit Disney-like, but then it's also a bit cartoonier, though the attention to detail is like that of a very well done anime or manga, but the faces look so different from each other, and certain things even if done in a kind of exaggerated way they don't look out of place, they actually add to the charm... I don't know, it's a very distinct combination of elements. And I'd love to know how you came to apply it so... intuitively, I'd say. owo That's what I meant. XDDDD
That's exactly what you said: I just combine any elements I like, implying they look more or less harmonic together. With practice, all the elements that are hard to draw\don't match with others eventually disappear. I guess so c:
