That's... a lot of steps. How long do each of these pages take to make?
Xamag Featured By Owner Nov 18, 2013  Hobbyist General Artist
Well, that kind of page took 3h for sketch, 2h for lines and rough colors, 2,5h for main colors, 0,5h for shadows and lightning and 4,5h for background %3

the best tutorial for comics with lots of good tips  about sai , fabulous details and really cute style!
i didn't know a lot of things you mention there.... congratulation !
i have a little question here... since when you started drawing on ps and sai ?
Xamag Featured By Owner Sep 26, 2013  Hobbyist General Artist
I'm glad it helped! ^v^
I've been using PS for seven or eight years, but I don't like it and rarely can name more than a couple of familiar functions. SAI's my fav for four years.
MaryAlchemir Featured By Owner Sep 26, 2013  Hobbyist Digital Artist
i made this image with your tutorial's help
thx again for posting it!…
Master-Oresama Featured By Owner Dec 16, 2013
wow, that's pretty good. Never judge a person's art by their avatar photo! (I don;t typically like sonic and stuff...)
Xamag Featured By Owner Sep 27, 2013  Hobbyist General Artist
Ooh, cool! *u*
MaryAlchemir Featured By Owner Sep 27, 2013  Hobbyist Digital Artist
i am glad you liked it! usually when i draw i am very messy with layers and cannot find anything but now i finally manage to understand how it is correct...can i ask you how you made the flash pages  from your comic? i cannot understand very well what is happening in that program
Xamag Featured By Owner Sep 28, 2013  Hobbyist General Artist
Me neither, haha. I drew all pictures is SAI, imported them in flash and wrote simple script for buttons, that's the most complicated task I can manage.
MaryAlchemir Featured By Owner Sep 29, 2013  Hobbyist Digital Artist
sorry ,i just  saw accidentally on your page that you have only 17 year..., based on the way you draw i thought that you are much older (because almost every awesome artist i saw on deviant art has more than 20 years) currently i will make 16 years in november ( silly hope that i will be at least half good as you after 2 years) and i want to ask you if you made some drawing classes (because you are fantastic!) ?
Xamag Featured By Owner Sep 29, 2013  Hobbyist General Artist
No, as an amateur I don't think I'm skilled enough to teach someone, the consequences may be awful :u Two years is a great amount of time, you can do that easily UvU

but i may ask, do you use default settings for your pixel works though or
Xamag Featured By Owner Aug 17, 2013  Hobbyist General Artist
I set pressure size for binary tool and opacity=0 to make an eraser
errrshadowtrollface1 Featured By Owner Aug 9, 2013  Student General Artist
Great tutorial.

Do you have any advice on using a tablet?

...recently got one.
Xamag Featured By Owner Aug 10, 2013  Hobbyist General Artist
Hmm, nothing I can think of. What exactly is bothering you? It may be weird to use it for the first time, but I got used to it just in a day or so.
