It doesn't even look like you do a lot of erasing in your sketches. It's like, everything just flows nicely. No guidelines or circles or whatever. How the hell do you manage such wizardry...

Well, sometimes I do lots of sketching and building shapes and correcting, mostly for pages, but those doodles are so simple that I just do 'whatever is pleasant for my eye' 8D

So for these sketches, there generally is little correction or shape building?

Yep, unless I can't draw the pose properly from the beginning

Is this due to skill or is does it actually help the drawing process?

Due to laziness. I personally think that you should always build shapes while sketching

Your sketching is so smooth and your expressions are so beautiful and, well, expressive! It's so awesome. Any advice or tips you had laying around about how to get better at emotion? Your characters just show so much of it. I know you need to watch from life and exaggerate those some for drawings, but all the stock sites for drawing practice I know of always have models with the same handsome or indifferent expressions. xD

Anyhow! Beautiful work, amazing sketching.

I've actually always failed to 'watch-from-life', because even if I get the mood of a real person, I can't copy the exact emotions to drawing XD I prefer watching from cartoons. I adore any kind of sketches from skilled artists because often they show hidden tips you couldn't see from finished drawing; not to mention that sketches are more emotional x) I think practice do the rest
