Should've done that long ago :T Some people wanted to know what my old art looked like.
Note that there's only original artwork, Homestuck and other fanarts are another story
2006 : My first try to write a story, a COMPLETED story and create more or less stable characters. I use animu style, while being completely unaware what anime is. I also draw with mouse in Photoshop, on only one layer (the one with photographed sketch) and use random pictures as background, yay! Ah, memories.
2007 : It's time for the second story and...cucumber faces (TM)! You'll never know what my MALES looked like... Everything is inspired by Disney, american cartoons and pretty much Golden Compass. This time I don't have to look for background, I've got 3ds Max mad skillz! Still use the mouse, got a scanner.
2008 : The third story comes with passion to anime. My first anime was Shaman King and...well, you know. Thanks god I read manga soon after that. But still, that's not the best style to learn from when you're new at it. So the first tries were horryfying. Honestly, I couldn't even dream that one day I'll be able to draw as good as some fanartists :Ъ But still, I consider this year being the most productive. Oh, and I discovered multiply mode and different layers in Photoshop, so I can color finished lineart! (magics yes) I have to try different pens and inks to find the most comfortable one.
2009 : The same as 2008, but in October I finally get a tablet. Wow, I thought that all cool pictures are drawn with mouse, derp. I begin using PaintTool SAI and Manga Studio.
Everytime I see a young talented artist like you they're always from Russia or Europe
